WOW ! thanks Anet, now i cant farm anyomore with my monk, cant do griffon run, cant do nothing. the results are : i cant get money and items anymore, theres nothink left to do except PvP i think i will stop playing this game and i farmed for a few days because i just ascended with monk ! now i will be poor and i cant buy any good item for my characters ! FU ANET !
As i said before

Come up with YOUR OWN build to solo farm, stop whigeing becuase the one you copied dosnt work anymore.

Yes it wasnt just monks that could solo farm, but they were just FAR TOO SUPED up compared to the rest.

Had I been able to reconfigure it that would have been fine, nor was I doing what was being abused and I had started the build well before anyone was abusing the skills, nor did I go moan about it on boards).

As aron said, good point on that one. But I'll add something: Not only some MMO don't give you refund points, but you must take a lot of time lvling and buying items, it's long and you're extremely prone to mistakes (and in some cases, one mistake in skill attribution means you have to scrap around a month of work and try again *cough*MapleStory*cough*) Guild Wars? No lvling grind, can change attribute, secondary class, etc. A dream, yea!

The update felt a bit lacking. Not much buffs on the less used skills. Same for enchantment removal.

People who fail to read are the ones who continue to say it's nerfed.

Agreed, after that ign article I was expecting a massive overhaul of underpowered skills and the end result is sorely disappointing. Oh well, there's the summer update I guess.. but I'm not gonna expect much.

I do understand it's generally not good to have a massive overhaul and to approach balancing by pecking away with minor changes until it reaches the balancing point... but this update was already a MAJOR overhaul with spirits and whatnot.. might as well have went all the way to breathe life into the game...

R.I.P. putrid explode, i shall miss you
I believe they put that 5 second recharge in to prevent putrid explosion skill spamming to deny anyone else "bodies" for their own PE or animated pets or wells, etc. It was in the "interview" @ IGN about the upcomming changes - they just felt PE being as spammable as it was, was deny'ing anyone else the ability to utilize any bodies for their own PE, summon's, well's, etc. Sorry I can't provide a link tho, can't remember where I found the link (tried searching but couldn't find it).

Yeps.... i have always used a different way of farming for my monk/elementist..... and u can do it with ease... even the monk/warriors can keep their build almost intact.

But the people who fail to read and even just try to make their own build, should probably not farm anyway, because they are not fit to play the game anyway. They are just stealing other peoples inventions, not even trying to build their own char.

That is why i love it when things get nerfed, people without an imagination/creativity quit farming and leave it up to the build creators themselfes. (Until somone posts their build on the forum that is)

Then everyone want the build, everyone rush out..... i need a monk, who can run me to droknar for 5K... who can sell me that - 50 icon for 20K. oh i need it so much right now.... and can i please buy monk runes for 3 times the price of rune trader.....

oh you don't need to link me... cuz that actually makes a lot of sense. at least i know they had a good reason to add the recharge time. thanks for the info

They'll quit, they're just angry.

Of course, they'll use Protective Spirit, and you won't hear from them.

Single player farming is faaaar from over.
There where builds before this monk stuff and there are still a couple more builds out there.
Im general not one to say something not nice but, some of yall are cry babies. And I feel sorry for you if youve invested this much emotion into this game.

Other than that....some of the changes that got my attention.

Glyph of Sacriface was actually a nice skill with a killer penality. Now its not as killer. Good change.

Healing Seed!...I didnt see that coming. I actually like it. Very intersting.

I dont think the changes to putrid, draw conditions and boon will stop the abuse of corspe denail and zealot spamming. I think it will slow it down, but only marginally.
Thats just my prediction. Hopefully, Im wrong.

Pets get some love. Goooood. I dont play with pet but Im glad its getting some love.
I hope they continue to work with pets in forms of commanding them and such.
Every change to spirits is good, imo.
Place your spirit in a stratigic spot if you know whats good.
I like the new Crippling Shot. Looks like it would work well with pet rangers that dont have any points in marksmanship. Keep a lot of folks at bay with it now.
Savage shot got a God send. It will be worth looking out for.

Over all, Im happy. I like how these folks balancing skills think.

Are you blaming Anet because other people are acting like bitches?

Seems like a sensible move on Anet's part. No doubt there are a lot of frustrated individuals who find their UW solo builds or spirit spams are micromanaged (Yes, micromanaged, NOT nerfed), but the only people I see saying that this update was a bad idea are:

a) Those who were making profits from soloing UW/FoW or winning PvP with the same cookie-cutter builds, and have now had their complacent builds disrupted.
b) Those who complain every single time Anet make any sort of update, whether it's for changing the price of dye, or changing the colour of cornstalks.

It's still to early to tell the long-term effects of the skill update, but for the moment, I believe that it has encouraged those who like a challenge to rethink and reappraise their own builds, and to find new ways to overcome the recent update.

Note: All skill ranges are for Attribute Level 0 through 15. For example, "Fertile Season: reduced duration to 15..45 seconds" would indicate that with 0 Attribute points, the duration would be 15 seconds, and with 15 Attribute points, the duration would be 45 seconds.
Does this mean that skills now max out at attribute level 15?

Ok, either I'm having a REALLY bad day.. or healing seed doesn't do its job the way it did 2 days ago when I last played my healer... Anyone got a suggestion for a decent replacement skill?
